| The Legend of Riva | ||
| The Rivan King, known by many titles; Keeper of Aldur's Orb, Guardian of the West, the GodSlayer, is a hereditary title that has been passed from generation to generation. Thus, every King assumes the name "BelGarion" upon his coronation. According to the ancient Belgarath scrolls, the Rivan King's sword became like a living tongue of blue fire, whenever the King would wield it. Documented proof of this has yet to be found. More then likely, this rumor, like King Arthur's Excalibur, is mere myth. So far the Rivan King's sword, adorned with a huge Shappire as it pommelm is just what it appears to be; a sword. After the fall of the System's Commonwealth, BelGarion, the new Rivan King struggled long and hard to improve the welfare of his people. Herein lies the story of how BelGarion, King Of Riva, brought his people through the fall of the CommonWealth. |
